Props to all that attended the game in person. You went to an away game at Auburn. This meant spending some cash and devoting the time to get there. You sat through that pom pom waving exhibition at the start of the game. You had to see numerous Auburn fans with body paint. You watched our Tigers struggle at QB and almost fall into a 21-3 hole. Then you saw our redshirt freshman QB find himself after making a horrible mistake. You saw our coach make gutsy call after gutsy call. You saw Scott run like a man possessed. You saw Auburn come back and take the lead only to have our Tigers score with 1 minute left. And we heard you. All the way here in Dallas through the TV broadcast, we heard you in their stadium chanting....:lsup::lsup::lsup: I suspect it was a once in a lifetime experience for all Tiger fans that were there. Congrats.
Amen to that!! WE HEARD THE CHANTS OF ELLLLEEESSUUUU EEEELLLLLEEESSSUUUU EEEELLLLLEEEESSSSUUUU!!! Also the 3 stooges on Gameday mentioned that you guys had "taken over"!!! :thumb: Your awesomeness is contagious!!
It was a freaking amazing game to attend, in auburns student section no less.. was amazing, so glad i got to go!! :crystal:
Don't know that I've ever enjoyed a game that much. Their fans were actually very gracious. After the game I had two different AU fans tell me that the better team won. Another guy said "Our first team was able to play with LSU's first team but our reserves had no chance" He was right, by the fourth quarter it seemed as if we were blowing them three yards off the ball on every snap. Also our band was unbelieveable! They were so loud on that last scoring drive! They silenced the Auburn fans.
There were nothing but LSU fans in the background on the postgame CollegeGameday segment! at midnight! hollering and waving (and no doubt drunk as can be)! it did not go unnoticed here in North Carolina either!
They were, never had the first problem with one of 'em. Helluva game The wife and I: View attachment 11355
Certainly wish we could have made this trip. I'll tell ya what though, many of the road games over the past few years have been just as exciting, if not more. If you have a chance to make any road trips, then geaux! It really is a lot of fun to go and enjoy yourself around the sec. Our fans did indeed sound GREAT over the air on Saturday night!
You guys that went have got to see the replay. The purple and gold sections seemed so small, but you were loud
