Secondary violations occurred all season long at Ole Miss, their defensive backs were scorched on a regular basis !

Still on crutches. He'll be putting those aside in the next few days and begin applying weight on the leg and starting PT. Realistically, it'll be at least June before something definitive is known.

I expect him to RS this upcoming year...at least hope he does. However, regarding him making it back to the field of play...it's "cautiously optomistic" at best.

This is the perfect spot for exposing that third rate high school in Oxford. :D

I just talked to a coach at Oxford High who played at Ole Pissy. He says that Coach O is burning bridges left and right with the HS coaches in MS. He told the all-state QB from Oxford, Matt Malouf, that he had a scholarship. O recruited Malouf since his jr year. When Malouf called Coach O to commit, he was told that he would have to walk on since Shaefer(sp?) was transferring to OM. Malouf then commited to Memphis. :eek:lefire: He has heard of several iffy things happening on campus since Cutt was fired. :eek:lefire: He would not say what he had heard, but I get the feeling that if an OM grad won't recommend that his players go to OM, they are not doing things the right way.

Plus, if you are a college coach, you don't want to piss off the HS coaches in your state. You will still get in-state recruits, but you are also going to miss out on a lot from coaches steering the kids elsewhere.

Ogre is going to take that program so far down, they will need a ladder just to climb up into the cellar!
