At halftime its Ole Miss 31 SC 14. Eli is 21 for 26 and 260 yards
LSU can't allow him time to set up and throw.

When Eli and the Ole Miss offense are clicking, they are going to be tough to beat. I think in the West we are the only D capable of keeping there scoring down enough to beat them. I think they smoke Auburn next week. I have yet to see anything rattle Eli.

Ole Miss' defense made it quite interesting at the end.

Our offense will do whatever it wants to do against Ole Miss. That is not my concern. My concern is our defense against the Ole Miss offense. Can we stop them just enough to win the game, or will it end up a shootout? It will be interesting.

But we have to take care of La. Tech and Alabama first before we think about Ole Miss.

The Ole Miss defense has not been able to last a whole game yet. Ours can and will.

Well, we were very successful against the Ole Miss offense last year, and the Rebels did not light up the scoreboard against quality defenses like the ones at Florida and Arkansas. It will be very difficult for OM to run of the Tigers. The more one-dimensional the Rebels offense is, the easier it is to control Eli. Of course, the same can be said for a fired up LA Tech team with their pro prospect McCown as well as an Alabama team that has a gutsy QB like Croyle. Thus, one at a time, Folks.
