1. I heard on the radio yesterday that if okie st had one more game, a true championship game, it wouldve had enough points to pass bama in the final polling , if they had won of coarse.
I think I remember someone saying in another thread that the big12 losing two teams, thus losing out on playing a championship game, cost them a trip to the bcscg.
  2. yep. just more fallout from beebe's incompetence and inability to hold the lil dozen together due to his bending over for texas.

i heard some up here talking like they would be better off without "having" to play a conf champ game. they just seemed to think they would win the conf and be so good they would get their bcsng spot without that pesky extra game. hope they are now worried the same thing will happen to them. cause that was crazy talk.
  3. Had the Okie State/OU game played the week before, Okie State could have jumped everyone in the human polls except Alabama.

This would have paved the way for them to beat a 10-2 top 10 Kansas State team in the CCG. This would have put them over the top.

Even though they won the conference outright, playing a game to decide it would have been much more profound for the voters.
  4. Translation: If Saban gets lucky, don't deny his greatness.
  5. say what? i thought it was great. i guess the writer of the article still has his panties wadded that bama lost. dick.
  6. Listen about what? I skimmed the article and didn't see what they didn't listen to.
