Got to give credit to those guys. They came down here, partied with class, cheered with class, and LOST WITH CLASS !
That is really hard to do.

I agree. I didn't meet a single OU fan that was a problem.

They represented their state and university well.

The same can be said for the football team, who pulled themselves off the mat late in the game and tried to come back.

Congrats to the OU team and their fans for yet another great season.

Well there are always a few, I think I met one of the few. We were all standing in a private party area with one of those orange fences and we were standing against the fence high fiving tiger fans and smack talking OU fans. Most of them took it in stride and smacked back or just smiled but one guy decided to slap my buddies girlfriend's beer out of her hand and told her to "F*&% off B#$%h". Needless to say that guy took off pretty quick when we all jumped the fence. Other than that guy every other one was decent.

I agree, Oklahoma fans were awesome and they had alot of class..(although one sooner fan was bragging in the bathroom at halftime that they were winning the "field position" battle, down 14-7.....the LSU fan filled bathroom then erupted into a "F*ck OU" chant...it was pretty funny!!!)

I had to share a cab with some OU fans after the game. I asked if they would mind riding with a LSU fan and they said, no they didn't mind you should be proud of your team and love the win for a great school. I couldn't believe how gracious they were. So I paid for the fare.

Did anyone see the blonde lady OU fan on the post game report on ABC 26 news? Talk about a sore loser. The host was asking everyone how they liked New Orleans despite the outcome, and every OU fan loved their experience here and said everyone was nice......except this one lady who responded "You'd think if I came here, everyone would show hospitality, but everyone is yelling at me, cussing me out, I hate New Orleans." She looked like she was about to cry! lmao

some random OU fan thoughts that have made their way to my inbox from the last few hours....

A friend of LSUBud & myself was walking down the street when an OU fan comes up out of the blue and says to him "I'll bet you don't even know what a 'Sooner' really is?"

Our pal says "well I think it's a Cherokee Indian term that means Silver Medal winner in the Big XII Championship Game" -

the OU fan walked off with a very puzzled look on his face.....a block or so later another OU fan caught up with our pal and told him that it took him a bit to figure out what he had said, but complimented him for the comeback...

in the same vein, while in the Dome after a penalty or two on LSU, a couple of OU fans kept turning to the LSU fans in the section and saying "Cheeters, Cheeters, y'all can't win with out cheeting..." (insert goofy accent)

My brother asked why they were making such a big deal about the penalty activity, when the whole aspect of what a "SOONER'S" place in history relates to is cheeting - by jumping ahead of the other people involved in the Government's land claim way back when.....

    They shut up....

But overall, I thought they handled the a$$ whooping in a very classsy manner....
