So I'm watching the LSU/La Tech game on Cox Sports and they went to commercial, I leave the room, come back and an old LSU/Texas A&M game is on?

Was the last half of the Tech game THAT boring?

You're kidding, people paid $35 for the game and cox didn't show the whole game? Everybody ought to demand their money back.
Cox is the reason I have satelite!

It's the culmination of my Cox Weekend of Horror. First, I have a house full of drunken Tiger Fans expecting Tigervision and it NEVER came on. Switched between Ky/Ark and Miami VT while listening to Hawthorne. Then, this morning, I moved the big TV from the patio back to the den and I can't get the digital box to "initialize". Tried calling Cox to "refresh" but it's been busy all day. Phones probably still off the hook from last night. Now, I'm watching in the bedroom waiting on the Jeff Boss tribute and Billy Cannon special at halftime of the Cox replay and I'm getting Lance Pavlas. Good job Cox. I'd cancel my subscription but there's no competition to turn to. That's why monopolies were legislated out of business.

SabanFan...Ask around about DirecTV...You can get a SERIOUS deal by some people on this site, and others in the LSU area...

That's a good idea. The only reason I don't have it now is that you could not get the local channels. I understand that's not the case anymore. I am really fed up with Cox. I guess they'd let me keep my cable modems if I ditched their digital.

I've had Direct tv for over a year now and love it.

You get local channels and the reception is great.

    I hated cable for years.

I learned on this board that I could get ESPN game plan
for 15 dollars a day so I watched the game last nite.

With Direct tv you usually get a free preview of concerts every
month, also get a week or two of NBA League Pass and other
    sports packages for preview.

I have ESPN Full court to watch the basketball team.

    One bit of warning However:

there is a delay I discovered, Don't know, Something like 5 to
    7 second delay.

I learned this as I was talking to my dad during an LSU game.
The play had happened at their end but not at mine yet.
