What took you so long to get here? What can we expect Sat? Who should we be most looking forward to see?
hey welcome to the board i didnt get to catch much of the zona Byu game.....how did your O and D look?
Sorry, I was still recovering from Sat Night. I haven't done a lot of research yet, so I am not sure what to expect. I know our D is really good, better than a lot of pundits have predicted. We have been very confident in our D for a while on our boards. We are finally healthy along our D Line and LB. Plus Holmes had a great game against BYU (2 Sacks, 1 Forced Fumble, 3 Tackles.) I have been saying LSU 24 - UA 14. I don't know if the BYU game was a good indication of our offense. We haven't had time to really analyze it and talk about it with "sources." We are a very talented young team, I just don't see us coming into Death Valley and getting a win. As long as we keep it close most UA fans will be happy. Is your rushing offense a concern?
Sort of, it needs to be fined tuned. If we don't get it working against yall then we will be in trouble against auburn
I watched some of the BYU game. I was really scared of Arizona until that game. LSU should take this one easily
JW, thanks for posting. You don't need to be on the defensive on this board, unless you are an as*****. Tiger fans take their football VERY seriously so if you want to talk X&O's about this weekends game this is the place to be. There are more than a few here that can "get in the huddle" and let you know what to expect not only from the game but the entire venue of playing LSU at their house. Ask away. Hope you can make it down for the game.:champs:
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about BYU this year. Maybe they are pretty good, maybe pretty bad. They have fielded some pretty competitive teams in the past, just no consistently. Anyway, reason for all this is AZ needed a last second field goal to beat the 16-13.
Thanks for the replies. I don't really know what to expect from our Offense. We were a lot better last year with Tui as the QB. We were expecting a better showing against BYU. Tui looked nervous in the 1st half and we started 3 RS freshman on the OL. 2 of them were not expected to start. Plus we didn't have any way to prepare for BYU's D. They were running a new 3 - 4 defense that seemed to confuse our OL. We didn't have any film the know any tedencies they were going to run. Many of us were expecting to see some of our freshman WR's in the game. They have played great in fall camp, but didn't see field on Sat. There is some talk we didn't use our whole play book. Not sure how true that is. I do know we have been preparing for LSU since the spring. It is a good game for us to get some exposure. The good thing about the BYU game is that we were able to finish a game with a win. Last year we lost 6 games by 7 points or less. One of the hardest things to do in sports in learning how to win. I am really curious what you think of your team right now? What are your strenghts and weaknesses?
This guy will be sorry he didn't come to LSU... book it. Although, he will probably dominate our sorry tackles in this game.
