OK, so who has a good pre-season mock depth chart? How does the spring game change things? Where are the question marks?

I don't have a depth chart, but here are my thoughts.

    Feel better about:

QB - I'm just excited about them all. No questions at this point.
WR - If the OL gives JJ enough time to think, these fellas (included RR) are going to have a big year I think.
DL - Even the purple team guys looked pretty damned good.
DB - By fall, I think LSU may have the most well-rounded DBs in the SEC.
Special Teams: So far, Helton looks good and our return guys will be solid.

    Question marks:

OL: Not worried, but center has depth problems and I'm not sure they've gelled as a unit in any way. Still a question.
RB: Depth. Need Ridley to get and stay healthy. He's a big part of next year, I think.
LB: Again, not worried, but I don't think the question has been answered yet.

FG Kicker - unknown. Missed a 50 yarder, but that doesn't say anything.

OVERALL: great spring and we haven't seen what RR, CL, MF and some of the other studs could possibly bring to the team next fall.

Biggest depth chart breakthrough prediction: I think Ford will see some touches by the middle of SEC play unless KW can have the year we've all been waiting for him to have...

I saw a replay of Patrick Peterson's int. and return for TD. That kid looks like a real player, a 5* who has lived up to his billing. I'm looking for him to have a strong soph. season. Everything says we hired a very good secondary coach, so I hope that unit returns to its quality form of recent history, last year excluded.

I agree with previous poster about Ford making it interesting at RB. KW has been good in spots, but disappears at times. Ford could push him by midyear. I'd like to see him hold off Ford and have a great sr. season, but we'll see.

The biggest thing is the CB position opposite of Peterson. Eugene started there for the Spring Game.

I should reverse that. T-Bob is recovering and will most definitely start at Center barring a major setback. Also, Perry Riley is too good to sit behind Coleman. I think we may see him at MLB and WLB before it's said and done.

T-Bob played snaps in a white jersey during the Spring game. I'd say that means he's pretty close to being fixed if he didn't hurt himself again on Saturday. I haven't heard that he did.

This is a lighter offensive line than we've seen recently. Mostly tall and rangy, perhaps they will be a quicker line. I hope they haven't lost strength inside.
