    Greetings ...

    The name of the game is "stars". I'm doing a 5-star system until the Auburn game (15 stars)

    * = 1 star = 1K play
    ** = 2 stars = 2K play
    *** = 3 stars = 3K play ... you get the picture.

    The picks I feel are the 3 best each week get a thumbs up: :thumb:

    I always have a "gut feeling" about some team and throw 1 game "to the dogs", despite logic and statistics ... this week it's TN :shock: ... they killed me in their Bowl game ... phukkin phatz :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

    Lay off = no play (too close)

    This is how I'm laying it down this week. Have looked at all the games and chose to play these. It'd be good to start off hot in 2004 like I did in 2003.

    Enjoy the read ... and if ya' wanna run with the champ and make some green ... good ... it's a big boy's world ... if you're a whiner ... you can let the cool breeze hit ya' where the good lord split ya ... I don't do and have time for whine

    Week #1

    VT/USC -17 -------------------------> USC by 14 -------->(No play)

    Washington St -1.5 /N. Mexico -------> WSU by 10 --------> * :thumb:

    I really like WSU passing game to light up the scoreboard here against a hapless secondary. N. Mexico will run on and score against WSU, but not enough.

    S. Carolina -6/Vandy -----------------> Vandy wins --------> *

    Cellar dweller Holtz is hapless in openers ... I can't wait to hear the WHINING over this loss

    Cal -12.5/Air Force -------------------> Cal by 21 ----------> *

    Air Force could prove me wrong but I'm sticking with Cal until they chump me ... they were sweet in 2003 in the big games ... and there's no bigger game than an opener ...

    Okla -33/Bowling Green ---------------> Okla by 50 (snicker)-> *

    Was tempted to make this a thumbs up pick ... but I didn't want my monkey going berserk around here and throwing **** at the tourists :hihi:

    Alabama, Auburn & Florida games ----------------------------> (No play)

    These teams scare the hell outta me ... best leave 'em the hell alone

    Arkansas -21/N. Mex. St --------------> AR by 35 -----------> *

    Only because of experience and big play ability from the QB ... 24 points against LSU last November ... not bad.

    Texas -26/North Texas ----------------> TX by 42 -----------> *

    Tennessee -20/UNLV ------------------> TN by 24 -----------> * :shock:

    I hate Phatz Fulmer ... but I'm a sucker for punishment ... If I lose here, I'll bet against TN the rest of the year

    Miami -2.5/FSU ------------------------> Miami by 7 ----------> :thumb: ** :thumb:

    This has to be done ... I've never been surer about any other game other than LSU. A great destiny awaits all but the timid.

    LSU -18/OSU --------------------------> LSU 33, OSU 6 -------> :thumb: *** :thumb:

    Enough talk already ... Let's rock Tiger Stadium and loosen the foundations

    :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug:

    Now if some of you can play the cards, be smart and "pick 3" for a 5:1 payoff

    I went an incredible 76-14 (84%) last year ... started white hot and smoked 'em until bowl time ... when I took a bad beating on TN.

    I never posted my weekly picks here until late because I was getting a lot of flack on this forum over it from the holier-than-thou fraternity. This year ... I say Fuggem and I'm feeling generous spreading the wealth.

    Go ahead and delete this post ... I don't care :hihi:

    Hopefully this post does not get deleted, and with my name now on the hall of fame page my opinion should count :hihi:

    I do think it will be very interesting to follow your bets throughout the season. The one pick I do not agree with is Cal over Air Force by the spread. Watch for Cal to fall on their arse this year. I really hope I am wrong as I would love for someone in the Pac 10 besides USC to be better than the average Sun Belt team.

    LMAO

    Outstanding ... this one's going in my archives ... I actually pull for Tennessee because we need them to stay strong enough to ensure the East end of the division eviscerates themselves in their annual dogfights.

    Last year was poifect ... a triple tie with the new "SEC Green" tiebreaker rule in place ... i.e., whoever could bring the most green (highest ranked) to the SEC wins the right to play in a championship ... and get the crap kicked out of them by the Tigers

    Better to break one laughing than to have that bastid fall on you

    What would you look like if Phatz "fell" :hihi: (during a Bama reunion) off a 20-story roof and landed on you :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:
    :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

    Seriously, the 3 best picks get a thumbs up: Here's a "bump"

    VT/USC -17 -------------------------> USC by 14 -------->(No play)

    I called this first one very close (USC won by 11) ... :cool:

    LSU -18/OSU -----------------> Take LSU (LSU 26, OSU 6) :thumb:
    Miami -2.5/FSU ---------------> Take Miami (Miami by 7) :thumb:
    Wash. St -1.5 /N. Mexico -----> Take Wash. St (WSU by 10) :thumb:
    Cal -12.5/Air Force -----------> Take Cal (Cal by 21)
    Okla -33/Bowling Green -------> Take Okla (OU by 50)
    Arkansas -21/N. Mex. St ------> Take AR (AR by 35)
    Texas -26/North Texas --------> Take TX (TX by 35)
    Tennessee -20/UNLV ----------> Take TN (TN by 24)
    SC-6/Vandy--------------------> Take Vandy and the points

    12 Large ... roll them bones! (your 3 winners are on top) ... ignore the barners betting against TN ...

    too much chalk for my liking....especially with the public favorites.

    offhand, I'd stay off of Wazzou, Arkansas and UT.

    vandi and memphis are 2 teams I like a lot.

    Memphis has some serious talent on offense as I hyped Deangelo and Mr Wimprine last year. now everyone should know about them so there will be less line value...but there's still some who need their memories refreshed.
