We did not invade and occupy the country. We enabled friendly Afghans to win their own war. However Iraq has been a disaster from the word go. You have lost your mind, amigo. Perhaps we should revert to broadswords and bows. Technology has kept us ahead of our enemies for a century now. And did you forget the war with Serbia? We brought about their demise and now Milosovich is in a War Crimes tribunal. It was an airpower war, fought with smart weapons, no ground troops, with a low civilian casualty rate and ZERO American casualties. A smart war fought with smart weapons that our enemy could not duplicate or defend against. You are advocating putting infantry into an occupation where they will endlessly patrol against enemy irregular infantry who have all of the same firepower we have.
