I am going with an agency, but the tickets won't be available until Monday...

The thing is, the tickets are considerably more than what I paid for them in 2001. This is because of the fact they know they can get more, as well as the fact that this is a ticket to the NATIONAL TITLE GAME, and the '01 Sugar Bowl was not a game with any national title implications...

    The tickets will be $400.00

I balked at first, until my father said he wanted to go ahead and pull the trigger...

On Monday, I'll tell you the who's and where's. I spoke with my contact today, and the ticket package (no hotel room associated with the price) is non-negotiable from a price standpoint.

Sorry to work your hopes up, but if you want 2 tickets to the Sugar Bowl, looks like you're going to have to fork over $800.00

Did you see the thread in the Ticket Office about tix going for $275?

I'm not sure how legit it is, but some ordered the tickets...

When are they shipped? Did you get them overnighted or perhaps two day mail? How soon before those tickets?

Wow TE - great thing I stayed up all night hitting refresh like you suggested.
This was about as anti-climactic as watching Geraldo open Al Capone's vault.

Well, I have a good relationship with the place, and I'm sure that they'll have tickets.

It's just that they hiked the price up from 2001 to now...

They'll have plenty of tickets...and you won't have to buy a hotel. It'll just be a higher price than they were the first go-round...

    Sorry.
