I think they throw his way more this season than last year since TD will be playing corner fulltime, whereas last year he was part time for the first several games.

They won't pick on him ... but it won't matter

He has a nose for that ball

    I'm gonna say a whopping 9 or 10 ... 4 returned for TDs ... 4 recovered fumbles ... and a Thorpe award to boot

I am predicting 9 INT's. Teams are going to pick on T. Daniels at first because he is not getting any hype. In Houston last week, the sports radio folks thought Blue Gay was the other DB!

Once teams realize Daniels is the real deal, Webster will see more action on his side and probably have more picks.

I went with 7-8. Teams are gonna avoid him like the plague, but we play a lot of cocky QB's who will try to thread the needle and make a couple throws.

I think he's had 14 over past 2 yrs. for a 7/yr average, so I see no reason to expect anything different for this year.

I think the coaches we play know an awful lot about TD.

Don't know about that, Ramah. That seems to be destined to go to a Beaver DB.

That would be cool. Get a little early season hype on national TV. The best player on the best D in the country should at least get a little "sleeper" Heisman love. 4 INTs in the opener would be a good start.

With our stable of RBs, I can't see Vincent winning the Heisman this year. If Webster puts on a big performance early in the season, we should at least try and hype him up. See what happens. If the big 3 or 4 frontrunners struggle late in the season, I think it's possible someone like Webster could steal a Heisman. Might have to play a little WR like Charles Woodson to make that happen though.

Sophs never get much love from the Heisman voters and the only way one will win the award is if there is a really down year across the country in star power. If White wouldn't have had the year he had last season and Leinart would have started and been as good as a frosh he may have gotten more votes last season. But even then I think most of the voters are against showing much backing for the sophomore.
