one time i took a tour of the UN, and they have a revolving door with glass around it and i didnt see it and i walked into it accidentally and busted my lip. the UN sucks.
If the truth ever comes out I think you will be amazed at the corruption behind those doors. The world (nor the press) would ever let the UN get a black eye much less a bloody nose. This too will get swept under the proverbial rug. Where is the aggressive "investigative" reporter when you need him/her? Even so the liberals would claim the report to be false accusations. This would be the same media and foreign governments praising Arafat for being a great leader. Evidence abounds that he is a lying, murdering thief but yet France holds state processions for him. The entire Oil for Food scam totally vindicates why we HAD to go into the Iraq and take Hussein out of power. It also underscores why France, Germany and Russia acted the way in which they did at the UN during the months leading up to the war. Thank God for George W. Bush.
The UN is just like communism, great ideology - just doesn't work. The UN is nothing without forces provided by countries, predominantly USA. It's just a place for foreign politicians to sit back and relax while looking like they care. What happens when something bad is happening in the world? The UN sends them a nice little memo saying that they would prefer they not do it. Nobody is scared of the UN - nobody respects the UN because nobody has any reason to.
this is what i agree with more than anything. this is what i want the media to say, the anti-war democrats to hear. america does the right thing, and is so good i can barely believe it. in the history of the world i can think of no country so good as the US. they will come to your country, destroy your terrible leader, and then return your country to freedm, and help you compete economically, setting you in place to have a spectacular future.
