    T. Boone Pickens just spent +2 billion on +600 wind turbines he's gonna install on land he owns in Texas. He hopes to eventually increase that number by 4x to make the worlds largest wind farm.

I'm not down with the whole green movement crowd, but this seems like a no-brainer.

Good for him. The oil companies are starting to realize that they are really energy companies and need to start finding the next energy source. Offshore turbine farms might work very well off Louisiana.

...say goodbye to millions of birds, bats, insects, marine life, etc...
and the environmental impact, with skimming energy from mother earth, is unknown, probably catastrophic.

ethanol production is hurting are waterfowl populations, increasing food cost.

Can't get something for nothing. Let's just let the almighty dollar lead the way...it always knows best.

    T. Boone needs to put some turbines in Washington DC and convert all the hot air over there to energy.

This BETTER NOT interfere with the mating patterns of the lovebug or else i am COMPLETELY against it.

*(Even if it does better our lives and makes a dumb animal move a few extra feet. Especially if we are in an energy crisis right now.)

Sometimes big ones, but the consequences of windpower are of little consequence at all.
