Word out of Tampa Bay now is that there is a strong possibility that Jameis Winston will be suspended for the season opener against the Saints, for violation of the league's personal conduct policy. http://www.joebucsfan.com/2018/06/buccaneers-blog-jeff-cameron-jameis-suspension/#more-200157 BTW, I've seen two season prediction videos in the last few days that have us losing the season opener to the Bucs, pre-suspension talk. One of them has us losing at home to Cleveland the following week, so, credibility ends there.
If our defense is as good or better than they were last year, no way we don't win the division again...
Good news/bad news on the WR front. Good news: rookie De'Quan Smith, they say, is looking awfully good. Bad news: twitter messages saying Travin Dural broke his arm today.
Too bad. They were saying the other day that Travin had a chance to be the kickoff or punt returner. That's probably the only way he makes the roster.
T-P reports Saints are signing WRs Michael Floyd (4+ yrs with Arizona, with Minny last season) and Brandon Tate (w/Buffalo last 2 years). This tells me they've given up on Brandon Coleman. nola.com says Tate is most likely being brought in as a return specialist.
Shit, I've given up on Coleman... Him and the fumbling, holding the ball like a damn load of bread...
