1. Does anyone know what conference the officials are from? :geaux:
  2. For the BCS NCG, it will be the Big XII.
  3. For future reference, where did you find that info?
  4. http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news?slug=rivals-188511&prov=rivals&type=lgns

Above is a link to how they are picked, how much they're paid, etc....

    Bowl
BCS Championship (Ohio State vs. LSU).....Big 12 refs
    Fiesta (Oklahoma vs. West Virginia)...........SEC
Orange (Virginia Tech vs. Kansas).............Big Ten
    Rose (USC vs. Illinois).............................Big East
    Sugar (Georgia vs. Hawaii).......................Pac-10
  5. As long as they aren't SEC officials, I feel a bit better. The SEC has the absolute top to bottom worst officials in the NCAA.
  6. lol... notice they didn't even give the ACC refs a chance to screw up.
  7. Come on man, I think you're giving too much credit to the other conferences...They all suck.
  8. Who did the Orange Bowl last night? There were so many obvious non calls on holding I almost thought I was watching an LSU game.
  9. Big 10
  10. It was the Big Ten.

Last year, at Lloyd Carr's suggestion, the Big Ten fired one of its football referees, James Filson, because he only had one eye.
Filson has sued the conference. I understand the suit is not a shut case... with both sides waiting to see who will blink first.
