Colorado is voting on whether to allow electoral votes to be split based on percentage of overall vote. This would really make things interesting if this passes. Supposedly Maine has 4 electoral votes, but 1 may switch to Bush possibly, but I did not hear the reasoning behind that.
Haven't followed the election as closely as some of you, but is there really any other states we're waiting for besides Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida? Just wondering.
If that passes in Colorado, it won't take effect until 2008, right? At least I thought that's what I heard the other day.
That's the BIG 3 (FL, PA, OH). If someone wins all 3, it's over. If 2 of 3, it's then on to the next 3 in question. The 2nd set of 3 will be Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. Whoever loses 2 of 3 out of the BIG 3 would have to win Wisconsin and Minnesota. Then it's down to Hawaii, Nevada and New Mexico most likely. Can you imagine these 3 states deciding the election? Could happen.
Wisconsin and New Mexico I can think of off hand. I heard earlier on FOX that Florida won't count the absentee ballots until Thursday. Republicans are claiming they have a 150,000 vote advantage in absentees because they are sent out by the parties so they have some idea as to how those votes will go. Should be interesting.
MSNBC shows Bush winning same stats CBS does, but counts it as 102 electoral votes. I am confused by that.
