    Bush with Georgia, Kentucky and Indiana
    Kerry with Vermont.

    South Carolina is an early key to the election. No results as of yet.
    Bush needs to claim at least 58-60 percent of the vote there.

    Bush 56 % Kerry 44 %

    But of course these are 3 heavy Republican states vs. 1 Democratic state's results thus far.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like the GOP has gained 2 seats in the Senate so far which is huge, 1 for sure in Ga...

    are local channels scheduled to show full coverage of the results in lieu of regular primetime programming (nationally)?

    CBS shows it 80-77 Bush now. He got a state with 14 electoral votes.

    CBS has called NC, SC and Va. all for Bush before anybody has even called one of these states.

    Looks like they will go out on a limb before anyone else.

    Isn't it CBS that prematurely called Florida for Bush or Gore before having to pull it back.

    yeah I think so. fox called SC about 10 mins ago saying they wont go out on a limb and you can book it if they call it.
