I am so let down by this team, I want to watch, but something is telling me not to put myself through such a daunting task. But then again, my hatred for Ole Miss runs deep. I guess I'll flip between the game and American Idol. God, that sounds bad.lefire:
Yeah, you're right. I'm just trying to get over the "from Final 4 to the NIT" hangover. Just let me vent.
Well.... 3-7 in the SEC with 6 games to go. The three games won were close games. On the other hand, so were most of the losses. Tonight is a winnable game, but Ole Miss is playing much better this year with their new coach. The potential for a LSU win is good though. So 4-7 after tonight if all goes well. That leaves the following games remaining: Miss. St. @ home - winnable @ Kentucky - tough game Florida @ home - Loss @ Auburn - winnable South Carolina @ home - winnable I'd say we likely finish 6-10 in the SEC, based on the way things have gone. However, I did see a fire in Davis against Arkansas that I have not seen this season. Alone he can do a LOT for the team. If he carries that same type of passion with him to the remaining games, we have a chance. Could it be enough for a 5-1 finishing stretch, with the only loss being to UF? Well, we can still dream.
