On this same line of thought, Auburn has not seen an offense or a defense like ours, either. MSU is closer to us in defense than either of our opponents has been to Auburns, but it's not going to be the same. If Lester doesn't play, I say they get lucky and get a couple of 3 pointers off turnovers. At that point, the only question is going to be HOW MANY WILL LSU SCORE? That's the question that I want to see answered. It might be 35. It might be a fat goose-egg. I have to think we're above the level of Southern Miss and can theoretically score at least a couple of TDs. NOTE the word "theoretically", because in this game you can throw everything you think you know out the window.
Guys, c'mon! I don't feel that badly about our offense. The QB's are disappointing, but now you're comparing our offense to Southern Miss and MSU? We're the defending national champs, and AU should be afraid of US, not the other way around (though I am afraid of the officials.) AU has not been able to score offensively on anyone. Our QB's have looked very green, but at least we're scoring. I say Charles Scott and Richard Murphy unleash their fury on AU Saturday night. Where is the spirit? You guys are sounding as bad as tirk (he knows of what I speak.)
Whoa, whoa, whoa! I'm not EQUATING our offense to the likes of the Mississippi teams, I'm comparing what those inferior offenses did to the Auburn defense to sort of guage ABOUT what we can do. I agree with your post on all points, believe me!
That's a relief. We should be able to control the line of scrimmage (and score) better than those guys.
After seeing the highlight reel, I'm not worried about auburn or Moo U. at all
:rofl::rofl::rofl: That song choice is perfect. It was like watching an episode of America's Funniest Videos. I kept hearing cartoon sound effects in my head the whole time! Nice find!
Any latest line on the take of the officials? Perhaps if we pool our resources, we can offer them a higher price.
