And so it begins, the defense of our SEC Championship. You can bet the house that Auburn will play LSU tough. Our defense is playing with confidence, but our offense needs to step it up several notches in a hurry! I can't wait to see this game!!! :geauxtige
I am looking forward to seeing LSU play an SEC game. It's tough to play at your rival early in the season, so LSU had better have their heads in the game from the opening kickoff.
For LSU to defeat Auburn the kicking and punting game has to improve (which it probably won't), both quarterbacks need to harpen their skill - particularly on the long passes, and the defensive secondary has to cover the receivers better. Hopefully the last two of these items will occur.
BB, it's really ironic, because that's just about the same thing I would say about Auburn. Remarkable similarity.
I had our game on 360.com but the barner game on TV. Auburn has LOADS of trouble with that offense. They were simply PUTRID! If you didnt get a chance to see the auburn game you missed one of the most pathetic offenses Ive ever seen. You almost had to marvel at the ineptness, confusion and ineffectiveness of that offense. Im not sure you could be worse even if you were purposely trying to be bad. EDIT: BTW...auburns defense looks NASTY. It probably had something to do with how sorry MooU's offense was but their D looks sick.
AU always fields a stellar defense. I look for this to be an extremely low-scoring game (though probably not like that baseball-score-having "contest" against MSU last night.) Every position WILL count!
Just wondering. Why the hell does this matter? If their pass d is great, we sure won't be able to pass. If their pass d sucks, we still won't be able to pass.
