Unless it SHOULDN'T have been called...then you only lose 15 yards. Craziest rule yet. They acknowledge it was the wrong call but penalty yardage still awarded.

If they would write the rule so that you throw the flag if the defender went solely after the defenseless receiver when he had an opportunity to make a play on the ball, you have a case for personal foul there, but it would still be too much of a judgement call. The automatic ejection rule has to go as well.
So basically the new rule in college football is on any helmet to helmet contact play involving a ball carrier or potential ball carrier, the defender will be guilty until proven innocent and if proven innocent he still has to pay a fine. LOL
