Interested to see how Spencer Hawes is. He was incredible in high school, and has been playing well for the Huskies so far this year.

How good is Washington this year? Should they give us any problems? I hope to see better shooting this game, and maybe putting UW away early. But if theres one thing I know about LSU basketball before Conference play starts, things might be tough.

 

Washington is 8-1 and ranked #17, only 2 spots below us. They are led by a freshman forward Quincy Pondexter (6'7", 220) 16.0 PPG and 5.4 RPG. They have a good offense (88.9 PPG vs. LSU 75.1 PPG), but our defense is better than theirs ( Wash. 76.8 PPG vs. LSU 57.6 PPG). This game is played in Washington and should come down to the wire. Hopefully our inside play will get Pondexter in foul trouble and keep him off the floor. Hope this helps. :geauxtige
