OSU, you're not only in the eye of the Tiger, but you may be in the eye of the storm also!

Francis may be one to keep an eye on. Some remote models have her venturing into the gulf later on. I hope the jet stream will head south and keep that be-otch to the 'lantic. I got some fishin to do down in Cocodrie.

Yea, some models have him going toward Jacksonville, and some have him getting into the gulf. It seems like with every new model run, they disagree in some way. We probably won't know for sure until Thursday or Friday where he may end up at.

As of 2pm AST, Category 4, Winds: 140mph with higher gusts, Pressure has dropped to 942 MB.

I'm going to Pass Christian next week. Maybe it'll generate some wave action.

Waves along the Mississippi Gulf Coast? Now that's a funny picture. It's ankle deep only about 1/2 mile out! :hihi:

Frankly, I don't care about a hurricane until its in the Gulf. Then at that point, I won't worry about a hurricane until Nash Roberts says its time to worry.

I'm in Orlando and the folks here are not ready for another hurricane. I was lucky, we never lost power (lines are underground) but many people just got power back. there is debris piled up everywhere in giant piles, trees still down. I have alot of large aluminum frame pieces from a swimming pool screen enclosure still hanging from our house, most of it was destroyed by Charley, but we can't take the rest down until we settle with State Farm, and thats a nightmare in itself.

screw it, I'm packing up the wife, 2 dogs, boarding up the glass doors and heading to the game! Just hope I have a house when I get back!
