what is the deal, for anyone who has gone to the past few games, what the hell is the problem, the kids have talent, every recruiting service in america thinks so, i read in a houston paper where bass got pissed at his team because he felt they werent hustling, and even if it meant breaking friendships he would attempt to make them play harder, the houston coach also said lsu didnt get one loose ball, brady its time to dump these primodonna guys that dont want to get their hands dirty, i love all this talent, but give me a ricky blanton or a CT3 over some of these whiners we have, one thing about the hornets they are out matched and half the team is hurt but they bust their butts every game and be in games they have no business being in, give me a team like dale's first team "the hustlers" instead of this one that cant get one freaking loose ball, lets turn this around tigers and start winning again, hustle and execute, thats all i can ask for, if you can do that, you have already won half the battle

Anytime a team loses in any sport the first to blame is always the coach and rightfully so. It just comes with the territory. I've only seen one game this year on TV, WVU, and like many others said earlier, they just got out-coached. Maybe Bass can instill some fire into the players and they'll play with some heart because it sounds like the coach can't. Notice I didn't mention the coach's name. :thumb:
i know a majority of you guys hate brady, i personally dont think he is proving he can coach in the sec now that he has talent, but i am not going to go around and scream for his head when the season is 8 games in, its a little to early to pack his bags considering sec play doesnt start till january he has a lot of time to make improvements if he does i ll be happy, if he doesnt improve he should be gone and we should be looking for a new coach
Wildcat fan view on the bball team No height (Can not expect Davis to control the paint, kid has skills, but he is raw and needs more experience). Need to get Bass in the mix more. What the hell is going on, everyone up in the Bluegrass State knows basketball, and we know that Bass is the real deal. Why is he not in the mix more? Brady needs to stop being so pissed on the sideline. He needs to observe the court and make adjustments. Instead he is too worried about going off on his players and the refs. For gawd sakes, getting kicked out of the UNO game because of a touch foul and up by 20 points. Brady, get a clue, and couch, not be so mad at the world on the bench! NO FAN SUPPORT. This team feeds off they crowd. Just showing up when Big Blue comes in town is not really supporting your team. Heck, UK football is terrible; we still get over 60,000 in the stands! Playing a weak OOC schedule is not going to cut it. Step up. Big deal, you play Utah, WVU, and occasionally Arizona. Why do you play the school of the blind of Louisiana as well (kidding of course). You want to play with the big dogs, play with them…not set on the porch. How can you gauge how you are going to be? LSU will not be prepared to play in the brutal SEC schedule with this weak pre SEC schedule. Quit make the PROBATION an excuse. It is long been over. Just my opinion, I am passionate about basketball like you are with football.
that is 1 of the problems another problem is height, just like he talked about Davis and I'll throw in our guards for good measure. I'll also say this team doesn't hustle or play good defense. I would also disagree with some and say this team doesn't have the talent of the sweet 16 team, Stro and company. No Way, No how! It also boils down to recruiting!
i'll buy lack of hustle and poor defense (essentially hustle), but weak non-conf schedule? THEY ARE LOSING!!!!!!!!!!!! So if LSU played great teams they'd be better? maybe marginally better, but that wouldnt correct the laziness. heck getting the crap kicked out of you may make thing worse. its just laziness laziness (ok and short guards and poor shooters) this is the last thing i expect from a brady team. gives me a little hope that he will break them---hey, maybe we can hire gene hackman
