Wilkerson, who played at LSU, didn't have to look too hard for a fan. Across the locker room, a former SEC rival, former Georgia linebacker Odell Thurman applauded Wilkerson. "He has got to be the biggest steal of the draft as a free agent. They're saying I was the steal. He's the biggest steal," Thurman said. "I can honestly say he's the best lineman I ever played in college. He's totally smart. He used to do all the callouts. I think it's going to be great to be his teammate now." http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050430/SPT02/504300399
Odell Thurman wasn't too shabby himself. Wilkerson is also now team-mates with David Pollack. Looks like Cinci is keen on the SEC talent. I hope Wilkerson does well and makes the team.
see Big Ben is in a great situation. former Saints, Jerry Fotenot, signed with them about a couple of weeks before the season started last year and ended up being there starting center. now i don't know if he will be there this year, but if he is, Big ben will be learning from a great Center
:rofl::rofl::rofl: Slow down...I can see 10 centers in his second year! But NFL overall?:rofl::rofl:
I really like what Marvin Lewis is doing with that team. They're going to be a playoff regular starting in 2006 at the latest.
