I want to know what you guys and gals think about something...

We all know that Bama is making buzz because they are "back" :rolleye33:. My question is simply this...if Bama handles Georgia this weekend, do they jump over LSU in the polls if Miss State brings their big-boy pants this weekend and hangs close?

I mean, I know it's too early for polls to mean anything...especially since these two teams will settle it on the field of battle...but it's the PRINCIPAL of the matter.

Eh...I find injustices to be easier to swallow when you see them coming. Even when you're wrong.

They both left the building and was seen cavorting with STFU.

    It's all hearsay, however.

I doubt if we win against UGA we'll get the "USC" treatment. That is only set aside for the Notre Dame's, OSU's and USC's of the world.

Doesn't matter anyway, since LSU and Bama will play later in the season. Easy rule for SEC teams... just win, and the rankings will take care of themselves. We have the benefit of the doubt now - no more undefeated SEC teams will be left out of the title game, in my opinion.

Agree and was going to post the same thing. If Alabama jumps us, won't bother me since we play later. Probably won't happen anyway, but we wouldn't lose a spot in that case because Georgia would fall below us.

If LSU struggles to beat MSU and Bama beats UGA, I say they jump us and I would say deservedly so. It wouldn't bother at all. Well, I wouldn't like it but we beat a #9 team and Bama would've beaten a #3 team. I think they would deserve to be ahead of us.

I don't know. when USC is ranked number 1 preseason next year and MANAGE to go undefeated and an undefeated OU team gets in there, AU still gets left out based on who the most popular kid in class is. However if OU makes it to the big dance undefeated and gets shellacked by FLA/UGA/BAMA/LSU, there will no longer be any speculation about the SEC's dominance. Going forward from that I think we put SEC Champ in NCG every yearfor at least 3 yrs
