Rasmussen has been notoriously biased to the right until Scott Rasmussen left them last year. They have been better since then. Mark Blumenthal of Pollster.com notes that, "Rasmussen's Obama job approval ratings do tend to be lower than most other polls".

Yes all the conservative news sources predicted Obama would lose in 2012, too. Sure the democrats have issues. But they pale to the GOP issues. They don't have a soul who polls anywhere near to Hillary, the Tea Party pulls them further to the right where there are fewer voters, and they continue to lose Hispanic support.

They aren't Americans either! Why are we taking them?

They aren't doing their job! They are busing 140 illegals every 72 hours to make room for more! Obama himself said this week that we cannot keep up. They are NOT up to it and as I just proved to you that once they get off the bus, there is NO process for doing what you want. When they get off the bus and disperse, how will we possibly get them to make contact in two weeks to get back ON the bus? It is not possible. It won't happen.

Either send the buses back to Mexico or put them all on a plane to Central America. A one way ticket to Central America is a lot cheaper than a lifetime of sucking off the system. These kids, via their parents, are here ILLEGALLY. They don't belong here and their parents are clearly willing to further break the laws of the USA. I am sick of making it easier and sick of bearing the financial burden.

And you think Gallup is all good?
"In 2012, Gallup's final election survey had Mitt Romney at 49% and Barack Obama at 48%, compared to the final election results showing Obama with 51.1% to Romney's 47.2%. Poll analyst Nate Silver found that Gallup's results were the least accurate of the 23 major polling firms Silver analyzed, having the highest incorrect average of being 7.2 points away from the final result....

In July 2013, the United States Department of Justice announced that Gallup had agreed to pay $10.5 million to settle allegations that it violated the False Claims Act and the Procurement Integrity Act for conduct involving several of its federal government contracts and subcontracts. The settlement resolved allegations in a complaint filed by the United States in November 2012. The complaint alleged that Gallup knowingly overstated its true estimated labor hours in proposals to the U.S. Mint and State Department for contracts and task orders that were to be awarded without competition. Because of Gallup’s conduct, the complaint alleged, the two federal agencies awarded Gallup contracts and task orders at falsely inflated prices. The settlement also resolved allegations that Gallup engaged in improper employment negotiations with a then Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) official, Timothy Cannon, in order to obtain a FEMA subcontract at an inflated price and additional FEMA funding after the subcontract had been awarded. The allegations against Gallup were originally brought in a lawsuit filed under the whistleblower provisions of the False Claims Act by Michael Lindley, Gallup’s former Director of Client Services"

We can argue over polls all day long and the result is the same. PBO is on a downward trend unlike what he has seen since he took office and the populace is losing faith in him. Of course, a few good headlines about an "improving economy" will switch that up. All he has to do is take action in Iraq to stem the concerns over oil and the price will come down....voila.

As usual you deflect. Zogby and Quinnipiac are above reproach and were the polls cited in the article. Gallup has a name but as uscvball pointed out has a history of poor results.
There is no doubt that he is seen in a very unfavorable light by most. It is no long a R or conservative opinion but only the rump of "progressives" hold any positive ideas of his performance. The only face you can put on it is that opinions change and hope they do here. However with the president's continued faltering and wrong footed moves it appears a vain hope.

We aren't "taking them", they are showing up here uninvited and they are being taken "into custody". Then they will be "deported". Read the news . . .

Kerry warns U.S. will deport undocumented Central American children

If you don't understand that we must have cooperation from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, then you aren't thinking straight. Our busses would be stopped at the border if we showed up demanding that Mexico take undocumented Central Americans. They would not allow them to cross any more than we would.

Perhaps we should put them into concentration camps until a "final solution" can be found.

As usual the conservatives believe in their own propaganda and ignore the data that says that the republicans are slipping in support, have no agenda of their own, and have become the party of NO. Do I need to remind you that Obama will not be running for office again? Simply blaming Obama for everything is not a platform that any GOP candidate can run on and expect to get elected.

Yes, we are taking them. In fact, they were being flown by Homeland Security to Arizona just a few weeks ago, with a number of them infected with lice and scabies. "The adults, the adults with children, families — that continues unfettered and we have no idea where they are going....Homeland Security started flying immigrants to Arizona from the Rio Grande Valley in Texas last month after the number of immigrants, including more than 48,000 children traveling on their own, overwhelmed the Border Patrol there. U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement has said the immigrants were mostly families from Central America fleeing extreme poverty and violence. They were flown from Texas, released in Arizona, and told to report to an ICE office near where they were traveling within 15 days." They were released at a Greyhound station in Phoenix!

And now we will be deploying Americorps resources to aid the illegals, taking time away from vets, low-income Americans, and disaster victims.

Two buses have been sent back to San Diego due to protesters but another bus is scheduled to arrive July 4th. Irony. "flights to California are the government's latest response to a surge of Central Americans entering Texas' Rio Grande Valley, where the Border Patrol has made more than 174,000 arrests since Oct. 1. Most are from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency will decide whether the Central Americans remain in custody or are released while they are in deportation proceedings."

Two states are facing the willful release of illegals. They will not be available for processing and deportation once they are out of US custoody. We should have sent the planes to Central America.

It's not about his not running for office or about the GOP. He sucks.....right now....and it's being measured. That's all.

Hey sport you're deflecting again...no doubt the R's don't like his performance and haven't for the last 5+ years. They also remain unpopular and that isn't germane here.
The fact you try to ignore is that O's performance is seen as poor by a majority of independents and growing number of D's. He couldn't have dropped as far as he has with only the R's dumping on him. A MAJORITY of Americans give him a poor grade. The number you try to use don't add up Red.
BTW this was a measure of how he stands in the public eye not a discussion of what the Rs will run on in 2014 or 2016. Try to keep on point my friend.

Again I ask the same question. What are we supposed to do with them once they are here? Your own source says they will be deported. The administration says so, too. Meanwhile we feed and house them, best we can. What exactly are you suggesting? Euthanasia? The GOP has done the same damn thing to illegals caught in the US when they were in power. Catch them and deport them. Deportation is a process that takes time. We don't have a lot of choices other than going Nazi on them. I realize that may be popular with the fascist right-wing fringe, but pragmatic Republicans in power treat illegals the same damn way.
