Hillary says she has 30 + years of experience since she is married to a guy who does. She's never run anything in her life other than her mouth. Not a city, state or a grocery store, for that matter. She sat on the Walmart Board of Directors due to political connections. When asked about his lack of experience, Obama tries to put the focus on "those guys in Washington" and "do we want more of that?".... "we need a fresh face in Washington"....translated, that means "this is the best I can come up with to defend my lack of experience". Neither Obama nor Hillary can give specifics on what they will do in office. "We will get the troops out of Iraq". OK Mr. Obama. What's your plan for that? Do you just say "let's all go home"? How silly.
Nor has Obama or McCain. Huckabee is your man if that is your criteria for presidency. He was governor of Arkansas. All corporate directors are there because of political connections. It's the way it works in corporate America. Every candidate leads with his strengths and covers for his weaknesses. Obama is no different. Have you bothered to look? They have gone into as many specifics as McCain has and far more than Huckabee.
Red I'll have to say, that you are a pretty fair guy, when it comes to most of this rhetoric. Even with my comments whether bad and good. Trust me I have some bad ones.
Here's a secret - the candidates have websites that have details on their plans. Here's the page on Iraq for Obama - you'll notice that it does not just say "let's all go home": http://www.barackobama.com/issues/iraq
That would be to easy for him to do. He'll just continue to take his soundbites and advice from the media. Carry on
I know candidates have websites. I'm going by what has come straight from the horse's mouth when he speaks to his supporters. All he has to say is "let's bring the troops home" and it sends them into a frenzy. If it only was that easy.
I am going to have to break you in. They only have certain amounts of time to speak, they cant talk about everything on their websites in those time slots. Every candidate is guilty of that.:thumb:
This year's election seems to be a bit reminiscent of the 2007 college football season: "unusual' and kind of crazy:grin: Looks like this year the more centrist candidates stands a better chance in both parties; the voter masses may be getting tired of the far right and left. Obama does sound very good, but his experience concerns me, not to mention he is quite far left.
