It's so damn close. One of the best races for a party's nomination that I can ever remember. Supposedly the upcoming few weeks will be in Obama's favor. That means a very close race will become that much closer. Current delegate count: Clinton = 1045 Obama = 960 2025 needed to win nomination. There is talk that the 2 candidates may head into their national convention without enough delegates to win and will have to wait to see how it all shakes out on that day. Obama has raised over 7 million for his campaign since Super Tuesday while Clinton raised only 4 millions. The Clinton camp is worried about this trend. The longer Obama stays in the race, the better his chances are to win the nomination. Louisiana, Nebraska and Washington are up for their primaries later today. Maine caucus is on Sunday. Then it's on to the potomac primaries on Tuesday (Maryland, Virginia, DC).
I suppose I would care if it were any other woman or black man. I'm big on moral and religious substance, as about half of all Americans are. Obama's Church could pass for a Black Panther splinter group, not to mention he's a suspected terrorist, and Clinton would save more money flying to campaign stops on her broom instead of that expensive jet (with Baggage Bill riding along). That and the likely scenario that most sexist/racist Americans still won't vote for either one makes McCain a shoo-in. Just my .02
I'm big on the government keeping out of morality and religion. I guess I'm in the other half. Suspected by whom?? I guess it partially depends on how many sexists/racists vote. I think if Hillary gets the nomination there will be a much bigger "anti" voting bloc than if Obama gets the nod. He comes across to me as an honest person, which is rare for a politician. Out of the candidates out there still, I trust Obama and McCain more than the others, and would vote for one of them only.
LSUfan71, I don't mean any offense to you by saying this, but you just hit my hot button. This is the most idiotic statement I've ever read in my life. YOU, my friend, should do some research and not base your opinions on forwarded emails. Holy cow that was an insanely bad post.:insane::dis:
I was reading about "super delegates" the other day, it seems they would favor Hillary & that could be enough to make her the democratic nominee. I'm going to vote for McCain, but I don't mind Obama. I hate Hillary.
?? He names his Church, I went to their site and read about their positions. Other than that I'm not sure what you're referring to. Too bad you can't recognize a little humor every now and then, lighten up jackass.
