No, this was smart. Biden is the main foreign policy expert on the Hill. He's been in the senate 10 years longer than McCain. He compliments Obama with experience and foreign policy credentials. He's a white anglo-saxon male protestant.

Hillary is a major future candidate who would have just been manuevering to follow Obama perhaps. She's going to be better off replacing Kennedy as the Bull Democrat in the Senate and she's going to try to take the party towards the center and stay to the right of Obama for the next four years.

For all their bluster, Clinton's supporters are not going over to McCain.

I would like to hear what Joe Biden has to say about the recovery of New Orleans and the entire region after Hurricane Katrina. For three years we've heard about the failure of the Bush administration to help the recovery while trying to justify all the mistakes made by Chocolate City Nagin and Edith Bunker Blanco.

I remember when Houston, Dallas, Memphis, Atlanta, and many other cities said "come" and we'll take care of you.

I don't recall Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Charles Schumer, John Kerry, Pat Leahy, or any of the other white, elitists of New England coming to our rescue. Like usual they just sat back and blamed someone else while never lifting a finger to make a difference.

I thought this campaign was about change. I don't see any change from Biden. You know exactly what you're getting...typical politics from a career politician. :nope:

    Obama
    McCain
    Biden

We're 0-3 so far with one VP yet to be named.

    OK.

Got some evidence of this? And what did McCain do?

That's great Red. It's very typical of their response...we should do something but then they rarely do. They always want to do something for the racist south as long as it keeps minorities out of their neigborhoods.

They'll do just enough to secure the minority vote as long as it has no negative impact on their elitist quality of life.

I'm no John McCain fan so please don't try that angle. I don't think we have a quality choice this year. I was hoping that we may get a decent VP choice but so far, we're 0-1.

McCain is dominating the Catholic and blue collar voters. The bulk of Clinton's supporters will vote for McCain and virtually every poll has reflected this.

This is silly. How do you misconstrue relief packages for small businesses as minority hand outs?

I notice that you didn't cite one.

The Gallup Poll say 28% of Clintons supprters will vote for McCain.

    The Guardian says 22.8%

    Salon.com says 25%.

Since when is 22-28% considered the "bulk" of anything?
