    One of my favorites:

    2 slices of white bread
    mayo
    mustard
    lettuce
    tomato
    american cheese
    Honey cured ham

Spread mayo and mustard on each slice of bread
place some lettuce, and a slice of tomato on one slice
add a slice of american cheese on the same slice
then put 4-5 slices of Honeycured ham.
place other slice of bread on top.
    Feeds approx. .25 adults

That's a great ham samich recipe. Add some doritos or pickles, and you have a very fine ham samich.

Note to Nootch: I see what you're doing, trying to derail this otherwise awesome forum.

    No need to whisper.

I'm not trying to derail anything. Just that when I see some of the other recipes, I realize I lead a rather sheltered food life. I have no idea what some of those ingredients are, let alone how to fix that stuff.

So everyone post something quick, easy to fix, and CHEAP in this thread to give me some ideas.

    Next recipe:

    1 Box Cookie Crisp cereal
    1/2 gallon whole white milk

    Pour cereal into large bowl
Pour copious amount of milk onto cereal

Repeat as necessary (7-8 servings is about normal) until stomach is suffeciently full.

    Three parts bourbon
    One part stfu

    Serve to Nootch. :hihi:

    Another one:

    Boil water.
Drop ramen in. Wait 3 minutes.
Mix in tasty packet (pork seems best)
Wait 8 hours while it cools.
    Enjoy

edit: i guess this isnt really a "kiddie" meal

however, i would suggest bread, wrap, bagel...any bread type source...throw some cheese on it and eat.

As a kid, I was a big fan of the Barbecue sauce sandwich.

Without the 3 parts bourbon I can handle the stfu on my own. Once I have had 3 parts bourbon three or four times the stfu doesn't go down too well.......

Put some bbq sauce on a slice of bread and throw it on the pit......you'd never believe how good it is- specially if you put a piece of sausage in it but I like sasauge off the pit in a plain piece of bread just as much.

One month in college LSUGrad00 was running short on cash and had to decide between eating and beer. LSUGrad00 chose beer and went to Big Lots and bought a case of ramen noodles so he could afford both. After about 1 week of ramen noodle LSUGrad00 got so bored that he started using food coloring to add variety. Let me tell you after a night of boozing green colored ramen noodles are hard to keep down.
