I think LSU is guaranteed to be in a BCS bowl.

Florida will probably be number 2 in the computer polls but Michigan has a good chance to finish second in the human polls and therefore the BCS.
    1. Ohio State Big 10 - National Championship

    2. Wake Forest ACC - Orange Bowl

    3. Oklahoma Big 12 - Fiesta Bowl

    4. Louisville Big East

    5. USC Pac 10 - Rose Bowl

    6. Florida SEC - Sugar or National Championship

    7. Boise State At Large - Unknown possibly the Fiesta Bowl

    8. Michigan At Large - National Championship or other (probably the Rose Bowl)

    9. LSU At Large - Rose Bowl if Michigan goes to the national championship; if Florida goes to the national championship it is unclear where LSU would go, most likely the Sugar Bowl

    10. Notre Dame At Large - Unknown possibly the Sugar Bowl

My BCS Bowl Projections at 11:30 on Saturday night.

(Note: This is informational rather than for bragging rights. I predicted it except for whether Florida or Michigan will be allowed to play for the BCS National Championship, but I put where teams would go either way the FL/MI decision goes.)

National Championship: Ohio State v. Michigan or Florida

Rose Bowl: USC v. Michigan or LSU

Sugar Bowl: Notre Dame v. LSU or Florida

Orange Bowl: Wake Forest v. Louisville

Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma v. Boise State

I am saying that two bowls are set. If Florida is chosen to be number two, Michigan will be chosen by the Rose Bowl and LSU will play Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl.

If Michigan is chosen to be number two, I predict LSU will be chosen by the Rose Bowl and Florida will play Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl.

My personal comments: I would vote for Florida if I had a vote, but I think that Michigan is more likely to be chosen by the voters at this point.

I just hope we win whichever bowl we go to. The Sugar would be great because it is in my town, it has its own day, I have friends who are Notre Dame fans and would probably come in town for the game, Notre Dame is the more beatable team, though they could certainly win the game: they have a good offensive coach and a good quarterback.

The Rose would be great because it is the oldest and arguably the most prestigious bowl outside of the new national championship. We normally do not get a chance to play in it. I think USC is a little more talented than us, but we would certainly have a shot. If we won, we would get bragging rights that we would claim. You get the whole Rose Parade thing. If we could beat them, it would be a win against a more quality team. It would have the whole 2003 SEC v. USC/Pac 10 thing. USC is alot more scary team than Notre Dame though. Even after losing to their rival. You don't know if you're going to get the team that lost to Oregon State and USC or the team that beat the you-know-what out of Arkansas, Notre Dame, and some other good teams.
