I hope the Irish are destroyed by whoever they play in the BCS. I hate Notre Dame's attitude...they need to join a conference. It is crap that they are given all of this special treatment because they are Notre Dame. They will get roughly $13 million and have to share it with NOBODY. They have lost 2 games, not one like Oregon. Notre Dame won 3 games against teams with winning records. I don't care how many tickets they will sell, how "great" of a story they are. They don't belong in the BCS. They need to get into the Big 10, stop thinking of themselves as the end all of college football and just get over themselves. I would love for LSU to get the opportunity to beat the hell out of Brady Quinn.
They do it because they can. I tend to agree with you about the special treatment and BCS bid; especially since one of their losses was to a Michigan St. team that has no heart and quit halfway through the season. But, the money talks. Their fans are everywhere and they will sell out any bowl game they're in. That's why they get the special treatment.
