Because I think they played a near perfect game, but let's face it guys an average 3A Highschool team would have give the Tigers trouble the way they played tonight. Every time it appeared as though they had something going, they shot themselves in the foot. Lot of work to do if we want to beat Ole Miss.
What the Hell are you talking about dude? I said Bama played a near perfect game and LSU played terrible. Please show me the whining in either of these statements. Damn Bama Fan, you guys kicked our ass, and you can't even be a good sport about it.
My feelings on tonight's game. Does anyone remember 1997? LSU defeats Florida and then lays an egg against Ole Miss. Well, it happened again. But I have a few observations. I counted at least 15 obvious holdings that weren't called by the officials against Alabama...one in the first quarter consisted of an Alabama lineman taking down one of LSU's linemen by the shoestrings while he's pursuing the ballcarrier behind the line of scrimmage. Isn't that holding, or am I wrong? Franchione showed he has no class...he was doing his Spurrier impression trying to run up the score at the end. Rick Clausen looked like he might be the best QB we have...why haven't they played him before now? Unlike Randall, he didn't have to refer to his armband for every play. He may not be best QB in the world, but I think he will be better for us. Until Wilkerson flubbed that snap, he was moving the team. Why can't we stop the draw? Oh yeah...BECAUSE ALABAMA WAS HOLDING! If I were making the decision this week, I'd put a little something extra in the checks for Watts, Beard and Collins for Alabama. They've earned a bigger bonus. But they probably won't get it...it might screw up the salary cap for the recruiting season. Does it bug anyone else that the sports media feels sorry for Alabama? Good grief! Next thing you know, the media will be feeling sorry for terrorists and Saddam Hussein...oh wait, nevermind. I read this week that the NCAA is going to revisit their investigation of Alabama...maybe this time they'll get tough and make Bama call themselves the elephants...or change their logo to a crimson wave. What is it with schools in Alabama not having a real mascot? Auburn has a live eagle and they call themselves "Tigers". Evidently, inbreeding has reached an epidemic level over there. One last item...I don't know if any of you saw the University of Alabama promo ad with little kids...the second kid says "I want to be a lawyer"...I'm guessing they're planning to buy some more players in about 16 years and they'll need legal counsel for the NCAA hearings... Doesn't matter...Alabama will still need tickets to be in the SEC Championship game. I still love my Tigers. We can still win the SEC, too. We did it with 3 losses last year...why not again?
Actually, I was born and raised in Louisiana. Therefore, unlike yourself, I can spell the name of my native state...I saw elsewhere in here that you couldn't even spell Alabama..."albama". Your mother/cousin must be so proud! For the record, there aren't any "officially" recognized national championships for NCAA Div 1A football...only ones awarded by other bodies. Therefore, if you were to look at the ones awarded and officially recognized by the NCAA, LSU has 36...Alabama has 4. Yep, that's right. And those four were in women's gymnastics. [Source: www.ncaachampionships.com] And if you want to add in all the football championships that Alabama claims, they'd still only have 16 national championships. And, of course, LSU would have 37. And I'm not sure that number counts LSU's track and field championship for 2002. And before you say it...you never specified what sport...you just said "championships". This is a battle of wits...and you're unarmed.
in a battle of wit i won 31-0. are you gonna cry some more? beingtat this is a "football" ms board i figured youdput 2 and 2 together to get 4. but instead you divided 2 by 2 multiplied that by 47. and then took the squareroot of it. 31-0
WHERE does it say this is a "football" board? And also, do you know what syntax is? No...it's not the 8.5% you paid for that keg of beer you just drank. LEARN TO TYPE...it's like reading my 22-month-old son's scribbles. No...his make sense.
