I'd like to let all the Rebel fans in on a little secret.

    When Auburn played Ole Miss

Auburn scored 20 points on you...
    Caddy had 100+ yards rushing...
    Your team scored 24 points...

    When Auburn played LSU

They scored 7 points on us...
    Caddy had 61 yards...
    We scored 31 points...

When South Carolina played Ole Miss

    They scored 40 points...
Dondrial Pinkens had 300+ yards passing...
South Carolina rushed for 100+ yards on the ground...
    They lost 43-40...

    When South Carolina played LSU

    They scored 7 points...
Dondrial Pinkens was held to less than 200 yards passing...
South Carolina rushed for 0 yards (That's not a typo, I said 0)...
    They lost 33-7...

In re: to our other common opponent, the University of Florida, well, that's apples and oranges. That team is 180 degrees different from the team that tanked against you guys, and the one where Leak had a season defining 4th quarter. He turned the corner beginning immediately after 0:00 in the 4th.

This LSU team is nothing like the one that played that Florida team the next week.

This Ole Miss team is exactly like the one that's played South Carolina & Auburn the past two weeks.

This LSU team had it's one letdown, and that was the University of Florida.

This Ole Miss team had their moment in the sun, and that was the win against Auburn.

This LSU team has not yet had it's moment in the sun. For champions, those moments only come at the end of a season, not after the 2nd most important game of the season.

Keep telling yourself that patchwork offensive line is going to hold up against a blistering pass rush. Keep thinking that Auburn can take three of them out of the game, but LSU won't hospitalize the entire offensive line depth chart.

Keep thinking that Peyton Manning can win a game on his own (which he has NEVER been able to do). Keep thinking that your running game will have success, allowing Peyton the freedom to use play action. Please, keep thinking that just because NO ONE ELSE ON OUR SCHEDULE HAS RUN AGAINST US, THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO!

Keep running your trap, just like Jawja fans, just like Auburn fans, just like Louisiana Tech fans. You'll end up fooling yourself by believing what you type. But, trust me, none of us believe your pitiful little exhibitions of what you'd like to call a pipe dream...

I fully expect (and hope) that LSU represents the SEC after the SECCG in Atlanta.

Ol' Sis, terdersee, florida............makes me queasy to think about it.
