LSU has received an early football commitment from place-kicker Andrew Crutchfield of Concord, N.C. Crutchfield, 6-feet, 180 pounds, from Northwest Cabarrus High School, picked the Tigers instead of Arizona State. He said he also considered Florida, North Carolina State, Alabama and Rutgers.
