    Win - Win

As far as I am concerned it is a Win - Win situation for us!!

We are one of the top 3 teams by all measures. When we win we are #1 in one poll and no less than two in the other. If we should lose we would still be top 5.

This is year 4 of the Saban era. We are loaded for next year and the Saban philosophy has taken hold!

My only concern is keeping Saban here.

    GEAUX (stay) Saban!
    GEAUX Tigers!!

TwistedTiger and Tigerwins hit on the head. I think in times of no clear cut team, controversy rules. If OU had won out all of these discussions would not be going on. But they didnt, so USC feels left out and LSU and OU feel rejected. Sorry, but the Sooners are not taking this lightly. They know they have a huge challenge ahead and if losing to KSU did anything, it was wake them up and help everyone else realize they are not unbeatable. Trust me LSU will get their best and you can bet OU knows they will get LSU's best. Winner takes all in this game. The Rose Bowl means nothing as far as the crystal ball is concerned. Michigan will make that a moot point anyway. The media wants all of it to be in a frenzy. So, every paper youread and every show you see has a differnet angle and favorite. My favorite is in Norman Oklahoma right now working their butts off for this game. I am looking forward to a great game. I hope OU wins, but I in no way think it is in the sack.

Come on Fly. Now you're getting pissy. This is an LSU board and we get to do the pre game a$$ whipping here. Check out the Sooner boards. No lack of confidence (note the correct spelling by the way) among the OU fans there. The SEC IS the stronger conference. We didn't make that up. No one here is kidding themselves about the upcoming game. Oklahoma is a juggernaut and beating them would be quite a feat. Fortunately, there is one team (besides KSU of course) that we feel is capable of knocking off the Sooners and that is LSU. If you are waiting for a post from a Tiger fan that heaps praise upon mighty OU and expresses fear of getting whipped on January 4th, I'm afraid your wait will be a long one.

    The media says:
LSU won the game because OU had a bad day and was not
prepared. Too much Bourbon Street or some other excuse
(see Georgia 9/20/03) and USC should have been here.

OU won the game because they are the best damn football
team in the world and USC should have been here.

Fly, it's simple X's and O's. LSU will prove that they are a better team with better talent. It has nothing to do with the SEC.

This will all become evident on Jan. 4th.
