Trev said that UGA was better and would have won if the receivers had caught the ball. I thought receivers that could catch was one of the thing that made a good team.
Frankly, I think it's still too early to say who the best team in the SEC is as of right now. But I don't see how anyone could say "Georgia". Based on what little we know so far, it would have to be Tennessee or LSU. The next couple of weeks will clarify that some.
How is it too early to say something about right now? It's now, right now, so now is the time to say something about right now. Right?
You must have a permanent piss-drip installed in your house so only minimum effort is required to deposit them in your cornflakes every morning. Most teams have only played one conference game. We can make guesses, but when I think "who is the best team in the SEC", I try to weigh what I've seen of them so far, then decide who I think would win if the teams in consideration played that day. THEREFORE, smart-ass, I would say that I believe it's between Tennessee and LSU because I'm not sure who would win in a game pitted those two against one another.
simmer down titan...life is too short to discuss urine and cornflakes in the same sentence. auburn is having a poor year THUSFAR...I would offer you condolences about that, but I would be lying. it is widely believed that LSU is the class of the WEST, with Arkansas in the bridesmaid spot. Your war eagles/tigers can still make a statement in conference play WHEN THEY DO NOT PLAY VANDY, but in the end Auburn will be the biggest dissappointment in 2003 along with Notre Dame. quote me.
Neither LSU nor Arkansas are getting any respect from the media. Hopefully the players take it as disrespect to them and come out and take care of business. This should keep the team fired up and easy to motivate. I'm sure that Coach Saban is using this to his advantage. Arkansas/LSU matchup is looking very good right now. Of course Auburn is 1-0 and playing spoiler to our NC hopes. That is where Tubbs has always been dangerous.
We're just gonna have to run the table and win the whole damn thing ... then we can tell em to kiss our a$$
As an addition to this thought, in the ESPN column "For Arguement's Sake" they list LSU in the top 10 but refer to coach Lou Saban. That is pathetic.
Get used to Fowler the negative homer. He has ragged on Florida for over a decade as he despises UF and especially Spurrier. I'd like to get him and Trev Alberts both in a dark alley.
You can run the table and they still won't give you respect, they will merely say you got lucky or it was a down year for the national powers in college football. When Florida won it all in 96' they said we needed all kind of lucky breaks to even make it to the NC game. But when we made it there we annihilated our opponent, the supposed #2 team in the country. :dis:
