I cant believe that Big Ten Herbstreit is pushing for a rematch . Michigan had there chance and they lost. Enough said. Hell there was only 3 decent teams in the big ten this year. And for all you people complaining about the ole miss win remember Ohio St barely beat some horrible team and so did Michigan. But they get a pass by big ten Herbstreit. He makes me want to throw up. All this Big Ten love . I wish Michigan and Ohio St had to play in the SEC year in and out.
Both of those teams looked pretty freaking great today. If USC or Florida win out, they deserve a shot in the game. Otherwise, it should be Michigan.
There wasnt much defense played in that game and i think i saw more missed tackles in that game than any game this year. One persons great game is another persons not much defense was played. Either way i think if Florida and USC win out one of them should go over Michigan because Michigan had their chance.
I say let the voters vote and the chips fall where they may. I would not be opposed to a rematch or one of the other one loss teams making it. Just let the system do it's job, just like it did in 2003.
And the regional divisions begin... I would love to have someone different play OSU. I really would. I was all for Rutgers, in fact, until they lost today to Cincinnati. So what do we have left? USC: A team that lost to unranked Oregon State. Florida: A team that lost to current 14th ranked Auburn. Arkansas: A team that got blown out by USC. Rutgers/Louisville (aka Big East Champion): Doubtful it's going to happen unless everyone else above loses one more game. Michigan: Lost to OSU by 3 points. The only one that should even COMPARE is Florida....and even then, it's doubtful. I say, unfortunately, it will be a OSU/UM rematch unless Florida shows some amazing stuff very very soon....and I mean AMAZING.
Well if you say Florida, you must include Arkansas in that argument (they'll have beaten LSU and Florida if they win out)
the Arkansas team that got blown out by USuCk was using what amounted to their 3rd string QB in that game....*IF* they win out, they merit consideration. had the UM-tOSU game been earlier in the season, then it might be a valid consideration but dam, they just played. this season reminds me a lot of when Peyton Manning was up for the Heisman and basically lost it to a media driven hard-on for Woodson, except this season it has more to do with certain teams than one player. I was really pulling for UM to win, they didn't, end of story...next please. Rutgers loss to Cincy shows how weak the Big East really is in comparison to any other conference...they should just be the WACII, I almost wish they woulda won out and gone to the title game so tOSU coulda destroyed them by about 60-10. I hate the BCS...how can every other sport have playoffs but not in college football? oh yeah, also, if there is a re-match of tOSU-UM and the Wolverines win, they get to be Natl Champs for going .500 against the Buckeyes? sorry, I don't think that makes much sense.
it doesnt matter anymore. its all crap. two teams that are pretty good will be put in the championship game and one will be named "NC"--whatever that means. college football is really losing its luster because of all this crap
