Sorry to be a stickler on this topic but it really pisses meoff. Dumb A** red neck kids who leave tons and TONS of beer cans and trash on the grounds and do not even bother to try to even make it in a pile or something. This was really evident in between the Pentagon and Greek Theatre. It was a sea of trash. I know the campus has people that come out and pick up trash, but come on people, have some freaking respect. Mark my word, if it does keep up, there will be more and more restrictions on tailgating.
I even pick-up cig butts where I tailgate. The worst I ever saw was our last trip to the SECCG. There were mounds of garbage where the Krewe of Ragoo had been, really sad.
You have a good point. The wife and I were walking past the stadium around 1AM and it looked like Mardi Gras Day with all the trash.
Good one! But do you agree with me? Maybe its because I live in Portland, OR now and recognize that kind of s**t (LSU grad in 2003). I've been going to LSU games since the mid 70's as a kid and do not remember seeing seas of trash left on the grounds.
I totally agree with you that it is simply sad that grown people can't pick up after themselves. But I do not agree that tailgating will ever go away at LSU.
My wife and I noticed how bad it was. It has been bad in that area for the last several years but Saturday night was horrible. We make sure to pick up our area after each game.
Poor Mike, I bet he could smell it all. He sure has had a busy two weeks. Welcome again Mike VI to LSU. I hope the alcohol fumes did not affect him.
