I just found a few sites that still have the dvd so I'm going to order it right now!

I ordered my copy as well as the LSU Fields of Glory DVD via the BCS store a few days after the game. They sent me a confirmation email shortly thereafter confirming my purchase of the two DVDs mentioned above. Knowing that it would ship February 20th, I was curious anyways and clicked the link in my original email just to see the status of my order about three weeks ago. That's when I noticed it was all wrong. It was the same price as the original email and the Fields of Glory DVD was there, but instead of the Sugar Bowl DVD, there was a Notre Dame flex cap and a SMALL (keep in mind I wear XL) Sugar Bowl t-shirt in my order. Needless to say, I immediately tried to use their customer service on the page. What a joke, it makes you choose from predetermined questions. Obviously they didn't have a "You f---ed up my order now fix it" option, so I chose the one with the closest response. They send some bullcrap email yadda yadda, email says at the bottom that if it didn't answer my question to just hit reply to that email, so I did. No response. I get an email last week saying my order was shipped. Email again, no response. I get the package in on Saturday, sure enough, Fields of Glory DVD, Notre Dame hat, small Sugar Bowl t-shirt. Another email. No response.

So here I am, stuck with a t-shirt that wouldn't possibly fit me, a hat that has the logo of a team I really do not like, and no damn Sugar Bowl to watch.

Moral of the story: stay the hell away from the BCS store.

It makes me feel lucky that I never ordered it from there.
Nothing would make me more mad than being stuck with something I didn't
purchase not to mention some ND stuff!

I got it off iTunes. I used the video out function of the ipod and played it on my 27" standard def tv. I was quite happy with the video. Epically since, I only paid 3 bucks for it.

I played it on a 42" HDTV at work and the video quality was not as nice but still very watchable.

 

Had the same problem -- ordered the DVD, but got the ND hat and small t-shirt instaed. After messing around with BCS' terrible customer service e-mail, I finally got this reply today:

Dear XXXXX,

I apologize that we have shipped you the wrong items. A system glitch
caused this error to occur for everyone who ordered this particular DVD
around the same time you did. To remedy the situation, we are now
shipping out the DVD's.

You can keep the flex cap and T-shirt. You were charged $12.50 for the cap and shirt. We have decided to count that as full payment for the DVD (which is worth $24.95).

So, in addition to keeping the cap and shirt, you will receive the DVD, and the total charge for all 3 items will be the $12.50 we have already charged you.

You might receive another email explaining this situation, but I wanted to give you the information as quickly as possible.

I just had to run to walmart . They have the "Offical BCS LSU vs. notra lame" on the shelves. I did not check a price. I went to the one on mall drive.

 

Hrm.... well, I haven't gotten the email yet. I hope that they catch it and send me the right stuff. You would think that when they saw a load of people ordering the same shirt in the same size and the same exact hat that they'd think something's up. "You can keep the hat". Ah yes, something to add to the fireplace. Regardless, they could have at least sent a message before that to let us know what was going on. Bastards.
