I haven't heard much chirping for our feature running back. All I hear about is how good Moreno, McCoy, and Ringer are, yet Scott has better numbers and has been instrumental in bringing along our QB's.

Through the first three games each:
    Scott - 44 attempts for 394 yards...9.0 average.
    Moreno - 46 attempts for 306 yards...6.7 average. (69 att. for 455 yards...6.6 average in four games)

AND...Scott has played against one of the top rush defenses in the nation last night and averaged over 6 ypc against a teams that was allowing 1.8 ypc.

If Lee turns into the deep threat that he showed signs of last night then they will combine to be a lethal combination and LSU will have one of the most potent offenses in the country. If we can shore up the secondary and make it a bonafide LSU unit, LSU is on course for even more greatness.

Good stuff. Big praise for Scott. He's got power, strength and speed.

He keeps it up and his wallet is going to be fat in a year.

Before the season there were a lot of people predicting Murphy would be our starter. Some even believed Scott would be relegated to FB based on where he lined up in practice a few times. He and the coaching staff have shown that he is our stud back this year. This battering ram is what we need in the tough SEC games when there are no huge holes to run through and holes open and close in the blink of an eye. Notice how he hits the line at full speed, showing no fear of contact. His vision and speed are also good and he will carry the load both this year and next barring injury or leaving early for the NFL.

Scott's getting plenty of love around the media heads. Maybe you just watch ESPN and college game day once a week...not sure.

Anyway, Ive always said that LSU will rarely see a Heisman winner or even a candidate, and I hope that it stays that way. That will mean that we have continued to bring in quality skill positions 4 deep. Spreading it around to all our studs tends to keep one player from shinning....let that one player shine on that mediocre team. Ill take our current situation any day.

I got much respect for Scott. He's really stepped it up this season and you can tell he's been putting in alot of hard work... I gotta give props to our O-line too, it makes his job a lot easier to have guys like that up front.

I'm a very very proud Tiger Fan today (even moreso than normal). This team still knows how keep it's composure and find a way to win. As we all know, that can go a long way in a season.

yes his YPC is insane. Averaging almost a first down per run, nutso. If he keps it up he will get the love. He needs to get into the endzone more often too. Moreno had 9 TD, Ringer 11 and Scott 4.

Yes he is. Look at all the 6-12 yard runs he had last night against Auburn. Especially the ones where he had 2 or three guys on him. Those are the runs that wear down a defense.

Scott runs hard and keeps his shoulders low and square. He's hard to bring down and he's a threat to break a long one almost everytime he touches the ball.

    "Damn Strong!!!"
