BATON ROUGE -- After finishing the regular season with the No. 7 overall NCAA RPI, the LSU softball team was selected as the No. 9 national seed in the 2008 NCAA Championships and will host the four-team regional against UL-Lafayette, East Carolina and Mississippi Valley State from Friday through Sunday at Tiger Park.
