Actually if you want to seed it, it should be LSU vs USC and OU vs Michigan. That gives you 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 if you use the BCS as the seeds.
Because they are ranked #4, maybe? With a 4 game playoff you sort of need 4 teams. Although if I had my way OU would not have a chance after losing their conference championship game.

Yeah, don't you think some other 2 loss teams would be crying... We should be number 4, this is not for the National Title because we were not in it and could beat all 4 of those teams. Point is someone always will be left out.
The BCS worked just fine. But we would still be playing in the NC, OH would be the team left out. Remember, we were number 2 in both Human polls. Of course then again, without the BCS contract SC would still be playing Mich. in the Toilet, I mean Rose Bowl, so I guess that is what you're referring too. My bad.
i would like to see a playoff system. The only bad thing I can see about that is a 2 or 3 loss team would have a chance to beat a 0 loss or 1 loss system. Since we don't have a playoff system, I don't think Michigan deserves a chance at the title since they have 2 losses. I don't have a problem for the winners playing if USC wins.
