    We are very fortunate.

These young men will be very happy at LSU. They will never regret playing for Coach Saban.

Both of these young men have a very good chance to play on Sundays one day in the NFL.

They certainly increase their odds of doing so by choosing LSU.

Watch out. We're going to have the Stoltz-Steltz combination on defense.

Oh man. Wonder how the Hogs feel about us taking two blue-chippers right our from under their noses?

You would think that, as few great football players come out of Arkansas, they would have their own home state locked down when a good one comes along.

    HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Out of our 14 present commitments, at least half are from out of state. Trumaine Johnson and Jeffery Jack are from TX, Mario Stevenson, Claude Wroten and Mit Cole are from MS, and Helms and Stoltz are from AK (although Wroten is originally from LA). We are in on several other high profile recruits from out of state also, not to mention some very good LA players.

It seems like we are going to have the same problem we had last year--too many good players interested in signing up and not enough schollys to go around. We are going to have to use another scholly for Tim Washingon and perhaps another for the OP Walker DB Johnson who did not make grades (although he may not be coming back).

I really want to see Early Doucet and Xavier Carter on the same field as Amp Hill, Skyler Green, or Michael Clayton (not to mention Bowe or Davis). Who's going to guard them?

Read my other posts. Saban is looking to wrap Recruiting up now.
Stoltz was recruited hard because Luke Sanders won't committ.
Trumaine Johnson was recruited hard because Alexander wouldn't committ.

Saban is NOT WAITING (THIS YEAR) for certain people. The signs are there and he's going outside the state ... fast and hard.
Sanders, Alexander, Favorite ... all listed Blue Chips in LA ... BOYS, YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE!!!!

I ain't never seen anything like this in 25 years of watching recruiting. This coach ain't kissing arses, he's on a mission.
He has a NC to win. All the HS Prima Donnas worried about their early playing time (TROUBLEMAKERS ... especially the ones with meddling parents), find another school ... The BOSS doesn't deal.

Saban knows what happened in recruiting during the 2001 SECCG season when they didn't have time to go on the road and recruit. It really hurt recruiting, so he is pushing the players and seeing who really wants to play for LSU. I wish steltz and Doucet, and Sanders would hurry up and commit.

Luke Sanders and Marlon Favorite will still be Tigers...Ramah, they aren't going to "snooze and lose" because we need those guys...Are you actually going to sit here and claim that we don't need those guys? That you would let those guys go sign with Texas or Miami or Texas A&M? Get real man, I am sick of you saying we don't need those guys...It is ludicruous.
