The best team at that time in a division should represent in the SECCG. That can't be determined by any computer, but by human intelligence. For instance, UF is the best now, but UGA or UT would go based on the polls. And the ADs pussy out, and unload the resposibility. College football just dropped a notch for me.
I can not think of a good way for a 3 way tie breaker. It doesn't matter when, there will always be a difference of opinion of who is the best team. 3 way tie sucks, not the tie breakers.
