Bama may have been the SEC powerhouse during a good bit of the 20th century (60's & 70's), but lets welcome the powerhouse of the Twentyfirst century LSU. We will now dominate the SEC. Fear the Tigers SEC.

A local radio show here this morning congratulated the Tigers and accepted calls to give opinions on the game. Everyone from Florida St. fans to Bama fans to Auburn fans were congratulating us. The radio host then asked the question "are we looking forward to playing LSU next here" he answered his own question by "hell no! no one is looking forward to playing LSU next year. A sleeping giant has awaken in the SEC, and it's here to stay"

People are now respecting the Tigers.

    You guys are it.

I heard someone's preseason poll while listening to the radio today. I can't remember which publication it was.

However, here is their top 4.

    1. USC
    2. LSU
    3. Oklahoma
    4. Florida State

Question? What is up with FSU being #4? Are they supposed to have a good team next fall?

All four have numerous lettermen returning next year. It's a fair pre preseason poll. I'd pick Florida up there, too. They are going to be very good next year.

    I am really upset

I am very upset that USC won't be playing any decent teams next year. With the level of play recently at ND and VaTech it may end up once more that USC looks like a champion even though they won't have been tested. Does anyone know who else they play OOC?

Florida State is a joke. The will completely melt down again as long as Chris Rix is QB. You can just about count up 2 losses with him.

USC will unfortunately go 11-0 with their powderpuff schedule once again. I just hope LSU ends up #2 in the BCS again so we can settle the LSU/USC controversy once and for all.

LSU will dominate the SEC in the exact same manner as Florida did under Spurrier in the 90s. We will win 3 national championships in these next 10 years (2 more in addition to the one we just got).

    Actually,

If both USC and LSU go undefeated we will be #1 in BCS regardless of poll rankings (assuming we get a decent opener like Washington State). Houston should be to us what Hawaii was to USC this year, a rent-a-win that ends up with an 8-or-so win sesason, and troy state is usually around .500 or better. Throw in the SEC slate and we will have one of the top SOS in the country.

Its going to be LSU and UF every year in the SECCG for a while. UF will be good again soon (heck they beat us this year)
