1. Ohio State 2. USC (if they win) 3. Florida 4. Michigan 5. Arkansas (you picked a bad day to look like shyt) 6. Notre Dame Computer Polls: 1. Ohio State 2. Rutgers 3. USC 4. Michigan 5. Notre Dame 6. Florida BCS: 1. Ohio State 2. USC 3. Michigan 4. Florida 5. Notre Dame OSU/Michigan rematch in NC only if USC, Florida and Arkansas loses Notre Dame officially out of the running for the NC (refer to Michigan drubbing of ND earlier in the season). Thank God. SO DOES EVERYBODY UNDERSTAND THAT THE BCS IS ESSENTIALLY IN THE HANDS OF THE VOTERS, AND THAT THE COMPUTERS ARE JUST FOR SHOW? NOW YOU DO.
I don't know that I would rule the Irish out yet. If they beat the Condoms next week their media allies would mount an intensive campaign to get the Irish in the NC game.
No way they put them ahead of Michigan....I don't care how many voters love ND...just as many don't care for ND....the ones that are indifferent will do the right thing....which is vote Michigan ahead of ND. Arkansas wins over LSU and Florida assures them to be ahead of Notre Dame, who will be sitting at home while Arkansas plays in the SEC CG. That's a definite.
Don't know about that. The game was too close. I see the coaches poll this way. 1. OSU 2. Michigan 3. Florida 4. USC 5. Arkansas And then the BCS: 1. OSU 2. USC 3. Michigan 4. Florida 5. ND I don't agree with these, but this is what I think we'll see.
Michigan stands a good chance at being #4 in the computer polls behind only OSU, Rutgers and USC. So if your human polls are as such, then Michigan definitely is #2 in the BCS, not USC. Human polls count for 2/3 of your BCS score.
I expect to see ND in the BCS NC game, if ND wins out the rest of the season. I live near NYC, and I hear the NYC sports media over AM radio . . . believe, me, it's been almost unanimous . . . the sports journalists in this area have already booked ND in the BCS NC game, provided that ND beats USC (even by one point). No matter what else happens, ND will be in the big game, provided they beat USC (even if it is a one point win). I hate that this is the way it is . . . o: :angryfire LSU Tigers . . . take it out on Ole Miss.
Oh, I agree. That was in response to the first comment, assuming USuCk wins tonight. Believe me, I'm with most of the country in pulling for Cal tonight! Regardless, I don't see the coaches knocking Michigan down after a 3 point loss to #1 with that loss being their only loss.
Will "out of sight, out of mind" come into play with Michigan? They don't play again. We have 2 more weeks of SEC play and for USC to play. I think during that time Michigan will lose a couple votes here and there, and fall back into the pack.
