South of the Superdome (Poydras towards the river) there are plenty of parking lots if you arrive early (hotel lots/garages will be full with guest cars). I would not suggest parking North of the Superdome (towards the lake) due to isolation.

The best thing you can do is walk to the game from your hotel, and catch a cab back after the game. Avoids traffic. Don't walk back after the game due to safety.

You bet. Keep that vehicle in the hotel parking lot, if you're in town and just walk or taxi to the Dome. They love to tow you and they tear the vehicles up sometimes. Mine stays in that Hotel parking lot the whole weekend.

If you're driving in from the West, but not staying overnight, there's plenty of pay parking near the riverfront and lots of decent little restaurants and places on and around Decatur Street. You got to watch where you park, but it's best near the river. The recommendation for Algiers (take the ferry) also works. It's gonna be rowdy this weekend.

New Orleans Center parking garage ($20 last time I used it). Walk through the mall right to the Dome. NOPD directs traffic away from the Dome pretty well after the game.

I haven't been to Bourbon in a few years. Do the bars shut down at 2 a.m.? And when do the cops start running people off the street?

Most of the bars close at 4am and the rest stay open all night. Usually the cops only run people off the street when Mardi Gras is over.

Sweet, because I won't be looking to shut it down too early.
